The price shown at checkout is final. Lemontree Kids is not obligated to honor prices from outdated flyers, emails, or third-party promotions.
Force Majeure: Lemontree Kids reserves the right to cancel sessions due to extreme weather (e.g., heavy rain or flooding) or safety concerns beyond our control. In such cases, a credit or reschedule will be provided.
2. Cancellations, Refunds & Health
Please refer to our dedicated Refund and Cancellation Policy for details on rescheduling and credits.
Health & Sickness: To ensure the safety of our community, children who are visibly unwell (fever, persistent cough, or undiagnosed rash) will not be permitted to attend.
3. Supervision, Ratios & Handover
Ages 2–5 Years (Drop-off): We strictly cap our workshops at a maximum of 5 children per facilitator.
Under 2 Years: Children under two must be accompanied by a parent or guardian providing 1:1 supervision at all times.
Sign-In/Out: Parents must physically sign their child in and out at the studio door. Children will only be released to the parent/guardian who performed the drop-off unless prior written notice is provided.
Toileting: Staff provide verbal guidance for bathroom breaks but do not provide "hands-on" toileting or nappy-changing assistance. If a child requires a change, the parent will be contacted immediately.
4. Site Safety & CCTV
Fenced Perimeter: The outdoor workshop space is fully fenced. For safety and security, children are not permitted access to the paperbark nature strip area beyond the designated fence line.
CCTV: Secure CCTV is in operation for incident documentation. Footage is stored privately and securely for 30 days before being permanently deleted.
Materials: All sensory materials are non-toxic. Guardians must disclose all known allergies at the time of booking.
5. Liability Waiver & Medical Consent
Messy Play Clause: Participation involves materials like paint, clay, and water. Lemontree Kids is not responsible for any damage to personal property (clothing, shoes, or accessories). We strongly recommend wearing "play clothes" that are expected to get messy.
Obvious Risks: In accordance with the NSW Civil Liability Act, you acknowledge the inherent nature of messy play and agree that Lemontree Kids is not liable for minor slips or property damage occurring during normal workshop activities.
Emergency Medical Consent: In the event of a medical emergency where the guardian cannot be reached, Lemontree Kids staff are authorized to seek medical attention or call an ambulance. Any associated costs (such as ambulance fees) are the responsibility of the guardian.
6. Artwork, Photography & Digital Devices
Collaborative Design: Artwork created during workshops is collaborative. Lemontree Kids reserves the right to use images of created works for promotional purposes.
Personal Device Ban: In compliance with NSW child safety standards, staff are prohibited from using personal mobile phones or digital devices while working directly with children. We also ask parents to refrain from using devices to photograph other children during handover.
Permitted Photography: Lemontree Kids reserves the right to take photos of children attending the workshop where parents have provided explicit consent. These images are captured using business-owned equipment, guided by NSW recommendations on digital cameras and phones during sessions, for the specific purpose of documenting creative progress, providing updates to parents, and professional marketing.
7. Legal Compliance
All staff hold verified NSW Working With Children Checks (WWCC). Lemontree Kids operates in accordance with the 10 NSW Child Safe Standards.
I acknowledge the 1:5 ratio, the sign-in/out and toileting requirements, the medical emergency authorization, the "messy play" liability waiver, the personal device restrictions (including permitted photography purposes), and the site safety rules regarding fenced boundaries and CCTV.
Bookings are confirmed once payment is received.
